Sugi Ban is named after the traditional Japanese wood treatment called 'Shou-Sugi-Ban Yakisugi'. Each facade panel is individually rolled with a burner that heats the wood and gives the wood a light layer of carbon. Then each panel is scraped with a wire brush and fine brush is used to give the facade planks a smooth finish. The last step in the treatment is to oil and wax each panel and then finish with a burner. After this treatment, the wood becomes fireproof and de-icing against mosquitoes and small animals as well as weather and wind. Of course, Sugi Ban can also be delivered with facade panels according to your own wishes; iron vitriol-treated or painted.
Sugi Ban gets delivered with a practical kitchen including an induction hob, fridge, freezer, sink and smart storage areas. You can even choose the doors yourself after receiving a quote. The signature of the house is the living room, which is spacious and bright thanks to the beautiful window section on the gable. In summer, you can easily open up to a the terrace that connects inside and outside and gives the building extra space.
